2024 Chaplains' Consultative Forum held at Disciples of Mercy - Kisumu from 13th - 15th August, 2024. The Guest Speakers were Pastor Bill & June Villapiano of Faith Fellowship - Houston, Mo. In attendance were Deputy Director Rehabilitation (P) who also facilitated, Nyanza Regional office, Rev. Jennie Roberts - Afcm director Africa and also the founder director Disciples of Mercy and 91 participants including Chaplains, Ex inmates and Afcm staff. It was wonderful hearing success stories from ex-prisoners who went through the training behind bars and are now able Ministers of the gospel in various capacities in their respective churches. We thank God for the Chaplains who are the coordinators of the Afcm Video Bible schools in individual stations and also for their effort in making sure that the schools continue. Before the close of the conference, one member of Disciples of Mercy Church graduated from Afcm Bible school. A big thank you to all the Afcm sponsors around the world who have made it possible for the bible school to run in all the 63 prisons in Kenya.
